Ninety-three years ago, on October 28, 1928, at the Second Youth Congress, Indonesian youth pledged to have one motherland, one country and one language. Since then, Indonesians have celebrated this day every year on October 28th as Youth Pledge Day.
The 2nd Youth Congress was held in 3 locations. The first meeting was held at the Katrieke Jongenlinen Bond Building. The second session was held at the Oost Java Bioscoop building. The third session was held at her Kramat Raya Street 106, her boarding house owned by She Kok Liong. The goal of the 2nd Youth Conference is to unite the dreams of all Indonesian youth associations, discuss various issues with the Indonesian youth movement, and strengthen the national consciousness and unity of Indonesia.
